BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Before establishing SIAHAAN IRDAMIS ANDARUMI & REKAN, Mita was an Associate at Bahar, Tjajo & Partners (currently known as Bahar & Partners) since 1999 until 2003. She further joined Melli Darsa & Co in 2003 as an Associate and was made a Partner in April 2011 until December 2014. Her area of expertise include capital market and banking and finance. She is also experience in rendering legal advice on state owned companies.

Mita has substantial experience in handling a range of capital market transactions including initial public offering, rights issue, bonds and sukuk issuance, medium term notes, listing on the Indonesian Stock Exchange and oversee stock exchange. In banking and finance transactions, Laksmita has experience as lender and borrower counsel in the local and cross boarder loan financing transactions, including straight loan financing, debt restructuring and acquisition financing. Her experience also include merger and acquisition transactions in the banking and financial institution.
She has represented Indonesian companies and investment bankers in high profile debt and equity mandates, domestic (including state-owned banks) and foreign banks, in providing and structuring financing to Indonesian companies in various financing projects, including toll road, plantation.

Mita is a member of the Association of Indonesian Advocates (PERADI – Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia) and the Association of Capital Market Legal Consultants (HKHPM – Himpunan Konsultan Hukum Pasar Modal). She is currently the Head of Advance Education Affairs of the board of HKHPM for the period of 2021 -2023.

Currently, Mita is also serving as a guest lecturer at STIH Jentera for the subject of Capital Market Law, Banking Law, Credit and Security and Commercial Contract.
